The 76ers, who own the No. 3 overall pick, closely watched Porzingis as he participated in a group workout in Las Vegas on Friday. And, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, certain scouts were impressed with the Latvian’s game.
The Sixers already have two young big men in Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid, and are expected to take a guard in D’Angelo Russell according to the latest NBA mock draft. Porzingis, meanwhile, is expected to be selected sixth overall by the Kings.
