The third deal is partially guaranteed, according to multiple reports.

The 37-year-old Carter was a vital bench player for the Mavericks last season despite shooting a career-low 40.7 percent from the field. He averaged 11.9 points in 24.4 minutes. ESPN’s Marc Stein reported that Dallas was looking to re-sign Carter.
