Moving right along, today we have the rosters for the Eastern Conference of EA’s NBA Jam reboot due out next month. The Western Conference roster is due out next week.
Each of the players were voted in by the fans on the game’s official website, and each team has 3-4 players, with 2-3 Legends per team. Check below for the full list.
Speaking of the Wii version of the game, it was confirmed by EA Sports Vancouver that there will be no online play for the Nintendo version of the game. This wasn’t a huge surprise, since plenty of titles for the Wii that scream multiplayer never get online capabilities. The Xbox and PS3 versions that come bundled with NBA Elite 11 will have online play, however they will be missing the Remix Tour, which features boss battles and other co-op challenges.

I was quite excited for this title, but EA’s move to make it required to purchase NBA Elite 11 for the HD, online capable versions of the game has really soured my mood. Personally, I’m going to hold out until we get Xbox Live or PSN versions. I would even be happy with a full retail release for the HD consoles. NBA Elite 11 will probably be a solid title, I just don’t want to be forced to buy something I don’t want. Given the sheer popularity of the NBA Jam franchise, it’s a good bet we’ll see a full version for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Ranters, how do you feel about the roster? Are you picking up this title for the Wii, with NBA Elite or are you going to hold your breath in protest until EA gives you a fully featured version for Xbox 360 and PS3? Sound off in the comments.
NBA Jam will be launching for the Wii October 5, 2010, and on the same day as an add-on to NBA Elite 11 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
