Westbrook, carrying the load for the Thunder in the absence of Kevin Durant, has inserted himself into the NBA MVP discussion, but in our latest list of mock odds* for the award, the OKC point guard is 6-to-1, still only the fourth favorite.

The Warriors’ Stephen Curry remains the odds-on choice to take home the 2014-15 NBA MVP award, listed at a price of -160.

The Rockets’ James Harden has been making plenty of noise himself and is the 3-to-1 second favorite. Houston has the fifth-best record in the league, and with Dwight Howard sidelined, Houston has Harden and his 26.9 points, 7 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game to thank.

Of course, no MVP discussion is complete without mentioning four-time winner LeBron James.  In his first year back in Cleveland, LeBron is 4-to-1 to win No. 5.
