Celtics issued Anthony Davis warning

Following unsuccessful discussions to convince Anthony Davis to commit his future to the franchise, the New Orleans Pelicans are looking to trade away their six-time All-Star. The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics are currently in discussions with the Pelicans, although Davis’ agent Rich Paul has warned the Celtics that the 26-year-old won’t stay beyond 2020:

Davis has spent his entire career with the Pelicans but wants to leave due to the Pelicans’ inability to compete.

Kyrie Irving set to sign with Roc Nation Sports

Kyrie Irving will be among the most in-demand free agents of the summer, and ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the 27-year-old has decided to switch representation ahead of the off-season:

Irving signed with Jeff Wechsler ahead of the 2011 NBA draft, and his longtime agent played a crucial role in securing Irving’s trade to the Boston Celtics back in 2017. However, Roc Nation Sports will now be tasked with sorting Irving’s future out this summer.
