Elsewhere, the annual NBA draft is less than two months away, and all eyes are on Zion Williamson – who many have tipped as the next LeBron James. A number of the NBA’s biggest free agents will also be up for grabs in the coming months, and with plenty going on around the league, here are all the latest news and rumors you need to know for May 2nd.

The Indiana Pacers still don’t know when Victor Oladipo will return

Victor Oladipo has been out of action since suffering a season-ending ruptured quad tendon on Jan. 23. The 2-time All-Star was expected to return for the beginning of the 19/20 season, although Indiana Pacers President Kevin Pritchard has refused to set a return date:

Since heading to the Pacers as part of the Paul George trade, Oladipo has established himself as Indiana’s key man. During the 18/19 season, the 27-year-old averaged 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists, and the team missed his presence during their first round playoff exit.

Kevin Durant and other top three agents to consider the Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets were among the most impressive teams of the 18/19 season. The Nets entered the season having failed to win more than 30 games for three consecutive years, however, the team managed to qualify for the postseason after finishing 6th in the East with a 42-40 record.

If the team opt to offload D’Angelo Russell and their other highest earners this summer, they will have enough cap space to add two max contracts, and Anthony Puccio of SNY is reporting that the NBA’s top free agents would consider heading to Brooklyn:

James Harden’s vision is no problem ahead of Game 3

After a clash with Draymond Green during the Rockets’ Game 2 loss to the Warriors, James Harden suffered contusions in both eyes and a laceration on the inside of his left eyelid. The reigning MVP returned to the game, although he later complained that his vision was affected in a big way.

With the Rockets in desperate need of a win on Sunday, ESPN is reporting that Harden should be good to go:

Entering Sunday’s game, the Rockets trail Golden State 2-0, although Mike D’antoni’s side will be confident that they can grab a win on their homecourt.
