In the moments leading up to the 3:00 PM cutoff, there were so many transactions that who was going where got lost in the mix. Twitter was a constant stream of news and reactions, leading to confusion from all sides. Although the big names were set in stone, the finite details of the trades were still trickling out 30 minutes after the deadline.

It was so wild that even the players couldn’t comprehend what was happening.
There was also some confusion when Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski mixed up Jordan Hamilton, currently in the NBA Development League with the Reno Bighorns, with Justin Hamilton, whom the Heat signed to a one-year deal in March 2014.
The typo didn’t bother Jordan Hamilton, though.
