The Raptors started the game hot jumping to a 34-23 first quarter lead. While they had control over the game for three good quarters, a fourth-quarter surge by the Bucks helped the hosts overcome the deficit and eventually get the win.

Kawhi Leonard led the Raptors in scoring with 31 points while Lopez scored team-high 29 points for the Bucks. Let us take a look at three talking points from the Bucks’ home-game win in Milwaukee.

#3 Giannis Antetokounmpo stuffs the stat sheet

Stat line: 24 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks on 43.75% shooting

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s love-affair with double-doubles is nothing new as we have seen him dismantle the opposition teams all season long. Last night was just another night for the Greek Freak as he erupted for a monster double-double and stuffed the stat sheet.

Giannis was very dominant in the paint and bullied his way to the basket on several occasions, the Raptors had no answer for him and if this continues, this series will be over very soon.

However, what makes the 24-year-old more impressive is the way he impacts the game with his all-around ability. He was involved in almost every possession when he was on the court and dished out six dimes.

If he is not scoring, he is assisting or getting rebounds on the offensive end. On the defensive end, he is a monster and it is virtually impossible to score with him guarding the rim. Just like you would expect, he had 3 massive blocks last night.

#2 Brook Lopez’s epic performance

This game had Brook Lopez’s name written all over it as the 31-year-old had a strong night and scored a team-high 29 points, leading the Bucks over Raptors. He also had 11 rebounds to put together a double-double along with 4 huge blocks.

This year, Lopez shot a career-best 35.2% from the three-point field and spaced the floor nicely for the Bucks. Against the Raptors, he provided them a much-needed spark to begin the fourth quarter, knocking down two back-to-back deep three-pointers to cut the Raptors’ lead to 1 point.

With 1:55 left in the fourth quarter, he made a 25-foot three-point jumper that gave the Bucks a 4-point lead. He also had a nice block on Kawhi in the clutch and made his presence felt on both ends of the floor, snagged 4 offensive rebounds.

#1 Kyle Lowry shot 5-7 in the fourth quarter while everyone else combined for 0-15 for the Raptors

This is where the Raptors lost this game to the Bucks. They entered the fourth quarter with an 83-76 lead and lost by 8 points in the end. While Kyle Lowry had one of his most memorable playoffs performances scoring 30 points on 10-15 shooting, including 5-7 in the crucial fourth quarter, the rest of the Raptors combined for 0-15 in that period.

The Bucks did a great job of putting bodies on the Raptors’ players and not allowing them to get any open looks. The Raptors’ All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard only had two points (FTs) in the fourth quarter and went ice cold from the field as the Raptors got outscored by the Bucks 32-17.

It is incredible how the Bucks missed 29 of their first 35 attempts from beyond the arc and still managed to beat the Raptors. This only means one thing, the Bucks are one tough team to beat even for the Raptors.
